D850 hands on review (Birding)

His name is “Crypsirina temia” which I have photographed many times.

But I must say this is first time I see such detail of his feather, that’s amazing.

This is the another picture taken D500 with the same AF-S 300mm f4 (Light condition is poor !!)

As a previous owner of D750 and D810, I am shocked by the leap in quality of image that D850 gives. This is not only about an increase in pixel but a revolutionary advancement in sensor design; D850 has equipped a Back-Side Illuminated CMOS Sensor for the first time in Nikon DSLR.

The image quality still maintains even though a tele-converter TC14 is applied. These shots are taken by AF-S 300mm f4 with TC14.

Post-processing is not quite needed, just some minor adjustment in exposure will be good enough.

This combo seems to be capable to handle flower photography too.

It is not actually a macro lens but it can give a pretty cool closeup.

100% crop

Tiny little creatures

Texture and layers of B&W

Will certainly test more soon.
